Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty woven coral seed bead hat button that became a finial during formal court ceremonies. The coral finial was used for 2nd rank officials. This button is in excellent condition. No missing beads. There is a metal snap that attached the finial to the hat at the bottom of the button. .Measures 1" x 1". circa late 19th century.
